ISLAMABAD, Sep 11 (APP): National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday felicitated Pakistan’s Long Range Team which made history by winning European Long Range Championship-UK 2023.
Raja Pervez also congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Ali for securing a gold medal, and Lieutenant General Ahsan Gulrez and Colonel Junaid Waqas for winning silver medals, a news release said.
He said that the Pakistan Armed Forces and their personnel had proven their mettle at regional and global levels.
The European Long Range Championship, which is the most important platform after the World Championship, commenced on September 5 at Bisley,United Kingdom. Pakistan’s team made its maiden appearance in the European Championship to compete with over 80 international shooters from 12 nations in individual matches and 12 in team matches.
